PFAS-free sliding compound resin
Non-fluorinated, PFAS-free lubricating compound resin.
Since the start of the compound business in 1983, the development and manufacturing of lubricating compounds has been the core business of Lehvoss. By using unique formulations of lubricants and reinforcing materials, we have achieved improvements in tribological performance such as friction and wear characteristics and sliding properties. Common lubricants include PTFE, graphite, and silicone oil, but PTFE is a type of PFAS. PFAS stands for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and there are currently various discussions and proposals regarding their manufacture and use, with the industry seeking alternative materials. At Lehvoss, we have been developing PFAS-free lubricating compounds since the 1990s, before discussions about PFAS became active, and these compounds have been adopted in many applications. PFAS-free lubricating compounds are based on engineering plastics and super engineering plastics such as PA66, PA46, PBT, PPS, and PEEK, and include various formulations with additives utilizing nanotechnology. We can propose suitable compounds according to your application.
